| wow.....i went to class today and then to lunch...where my friend Colleen and I realized that classes are over! ahhh! how crazy is that? i am sooo jazzed for the summer! i am going to be a Bible camp counselor for two months...but for the couple of weeks before and after that, I am going to be working at the ole' grocery store in the happening town of Fort Benton! woo-hoo! (yeah, i know...i can't believe it either!)
but right now, there seems to be a lot in between me and my summer. finals....ugh. tests and papers. Mass Media test is gonna kill....ugh....want to know what one of my final papers is about? okay here goes nothing....I am analyzing six different texts...they are....
1)Black Elk Speaks - a piece about Native American's way of knowing "the sacred"..yeah they're scared to say God here. :(
2)Genesis chapters 1 and 2
3) Plato and his allegory of the Cave
4) a poem by Wendell Berry entitled "Manifesto: The Mad Farmer Liberation Front
5) William Shakespeare's play "The Tempest" - mostly just the character of Prospero
6) Romance Poetry from Keats and Hardy
ummm sooo yeah, this is what i have to do with all of these texts...ugh.
"In what ways do each of these texts respond to String Theory as a way of knowing, and why?"
whew....yeah. it's a doosie. but hey, one cool thing that is happening tonight is that while I am sitting here in my room (not alone...my friend Badria is trying to study and my roommate Letitia is zonked out...yeah she took some Ny Quil...won't be hearing from her for awhile!) anywho, while I am sitting here...out on the oval there are hundreds of people doing "Relay for Life." They are camping out and the goal for each team is to have one member of each team walking around the oval at all times from 6 tonight till 6 in the morning. It's a fundraiser for Cancer research. They are starting to light candles for remembrance right now. Isn't the human spirit amazing? we are built with this love and compassion for one another and I thank God for that design.
and also a couple blocks away...ChiAlpha (a ministry on campus) is having a BBQ and they just started their worship outside with loudspeakers and all. So even here in my room I can hear them shouting out to God "You're grace is enough, You're grace is enough for me"...wow. it's great.
I really love all of you and i pray that God reveals Himself to each and every one of you this summer. Let us not forget to keep eachother raised up in prayer...that's what fellowship is all about! wow...okay i'm out.

| Guys you would not believe the day i have had! all I can say right now is "God is Good!" I am sooo amazed by Him and His timing and His direction and His patience...that i think i am about ready to burst...hopefully i will fill you all in on all the details VERY soon....because internet is supposed to be coming to my room tomorrow! i love you all and encourage you to keep loving the Lord and living out His love. | | |

Everything is going okay. The campus is beautiful....getting into classes is a little stressful since most are filled by the other 13,000 students here....but hey it's all going to be alright. ('Cause I know my God saved the day, and I know His Word never fails, and I know my God made a way for me...Salvation is here! amen!) but anywho...My roomate is really nice and we get along just great. (don't worry Annie, there's no competition!) hehe but yeah it feels different here but it's a great experience. I miss you all unbearably and hopefully i will get internet in my room soon and keep in closer touch! i love you guys! bye! | | |
